***This is Message 58/09 from North Cotswolds Watch
Office at Stow. In the past, we have advised Watch members in the Moreton area
about the activities of a local conman, who was persuading people to give him
money for petrol or upfront payment for decorating materials. Despite serving a
prison term for similar crimes and currently being on probation, it seems that
he is continuing to commit offences, the latest being at Aylworth on Sunday, 6
Dec. This male is 59 yrs of age, 5ft10ins, slim build with a full head of grey
hair. He is using a red Peugeot 106 hatchback, reg. no. P518NSF. Do not be
taken in by this mans sorry tale and, more importantly, please let PC Caroline
Paxford know if he calls on you, or has called on you recently. She can be
contacted on 0845 090 1234. Incident No. 300 of 06/12/09 refers to his latest
visit at Aylworth. ***
