***This is Message 39/08 from North Cotswolds Watch Office at Stow. On Tuesday,
3 June, police recovered two vans in the Northleach area which were found to
contain a quantity of Cotswold stone tiles. It is thought that the tiles may
have been stolen from the local area shortly beforehand. One of the vans had
been stolen several months ago from the Stroud area and was bearing false number
plates. One person was arrested during the course of the operation and is
currently on police bail pending the results of scientific tests that are being
carried out on the vehicles and their contents.***
